Undergraduates can use this opportunity as a pre-qualification for future recruitment opportunities. We plan on guiding our undergraduates into becoming leaders in their respective fields. We will unfold a number of career explorations and experiential learning to optimize students’ professional and personal potential. This engagement also deepens self-knowledge by enabling students to choose meaningful career paths and excel in a diverse, global society. Deviating from the traditional career fair environment where students have to face walk-in interviews, this year's career fair includes a series of online agendas. For many jobs and skill hunters, our virtual career fair offers a simple way to ‘meet’ and interact with exceptionals in one place; with a simple-to-use interface and an opportunity to uplift experience, education, and aspirations. So all you need is a device and a good internet connection. Join ‘Career fair 2021’ to navigate your career path.

The 'Career Fair' organized annually by the Career Guidance Unit bestows the opportunity for the undergraduates to identify their potential, select their career path, enhance their skills, and finally meet and find more about job openings at potential employers. To prepare undergraduates for this occasion, they are groomed by improving their skills throughout a considerable period, by offering numerous services and facilities such as skills development, career resources, job placements, and computer facilities.
The skills development sessions contain workshops, awareness programs, and mentoring sessions that would address the key areas, including persuasive writing of Curriculum Vitae, and efficient implementation of cognitive and communicative skills at the interviews. Possessing sound knowledge in computer skills is a must in the contemporary corporate world. Hence, undergraduates get computer facilities. It would reinforce their existing knowledge by conducting workshops on getting a start on the Internet, writing a sufficient e-mail, creating presentations, computer applications, creating LinkedIn accounts, etc. The grooming sessions are limited to seminars and workshops, and the engagement of practicality would play a vital role throughout the Career Fair. Thus, career key tests are conducted for the undergraduates to identify their values, ideal professions, passion and interests, and strengths and weaknesses.
After this series of workshops and seminars, mock interviews are conducted. These interviews would provide undergraduates with the opportunity to experience how to meet a job interview, identify their weaknesses, and consolidate their strengths before facing interviews at the career fair, where they would be introduced to potential employers and provided with professional exposure. Throughout the career fair, every facility and service offered provides a platform for the undergraduates representing every faculty at the university to explore career opportunities in the corporate world.
