The Career Fair 2027 Team officially received their letters of appointment from the Director of the Career Guidance Unit (CGU), Senior Professor  Dilkushi Senaratne, on 09 September 2026 at the CGU Auditorium. The committee comprises student leaders from CGU-affiliated clubs and aims to develop leadership skills and encourage active student participation.

Career Fair 2027 is expected to be a flagship event of the CGU, providing undergraduates with opportunities for career development, professional networking, and industry engagement. R. Nishanthan, President of the Rotaract Club, was appointed as Chair, while I. A. N. Fernando, President of AIESEC, was appointed as Co-Chair – Public Relations. P. A. T. A. Palihawadana, President of the Gavel Club, will serve as Secretary. J. T. T. Jayawardhana, President of the Leo Club, was appointed as Co-Chair – Events & Logistics, while S. M. D. T. Bandara, President of the LED Club, will serve as Co-Chair – Delegations.

The event was attended by Mr K. A. M. Viraj Abeysinghe and Mrs R. P. A. Minoon Perera, Career Counsellors of the Career Guidance Unit. The CGU wishes the newly appointed team every success in making Career Fair 2027 a successful platform for enhancing undergraduate career readiness and industry engagement.
